Born in Australia (The colonies) many moons ago, I started cooking at the tender age of 15. Having spent so much time in professional kitchens you do tend to get a bit warped; Check out the shirt.
After spending 12 years cooking in Australia I decided that I needed a new challenge and set sail, figuratively speaking, for London town.
I spent two seasons cooking in the wilderness of the French Alps developing a love for all things French, except perhaps learning the language.
I have been very fortunate to work with some excellent, passionate chefs who have taught me a great deal and inspired me; reigniting the fire that has kept me in this industry for 33 years.
I’ve also had the great pleasure to work for Jamie Oliver, it was a great experience but I’ve moved onto consulting work with an eye to the future of going into television.
